CAE Celebrates Career Development Graduates at the Ford Foundation

On June 1, CAE celebrated the accomplishments of the Spring 2009 class of the Career Development Program. These 49 students, representing 13 New York City public high schools, completed internships at some of NYC's top companies and nonprofit organizations, among them The Broadway League, Bloomingdale’s, Rockwell Group, Silverstein Photography, CUE Art Foundation, and the Pearl Theatre Company. The Ford Foundation generously hosted the event.

Keynote speaker Nahtahniel Reel said, “Participating in the Career Development Program has allowed me to become a champion. The knowledge, preparation, and support I received in this program strengthened my motivation to pursue my life’s dreams."
