We are a growing group of NYC public school parents and community members who are united by the fact that good schools have the arts and concerned that fewer and fewer schools are providing the education to which our children are entitled by law.

• We want all NYC school children to receive a quality education—one that includes and values the arts. Unfortunately, in NYC that is far from the reality.
• We want NYC students to have the opportunity to achieve their full potential and become artists, audiences, informed citizens, and professionals who are prepared for success in the 21^st century.  We work with elected officials, organizations, and individuals to achieve this goal.

 

Now is the time to invest in our children! Let’s work together to ensure they receive an education that provides room for the creativity, opportunities, and success that can only be derived from a well-rounded education that includes the arts.

SUPPORT DEDICATED FUNDING FOR ARTS EDUCATION

City Council Resolution #837 calls for the dedication of a minimum amount of funding to be reserved exclusively for arts education.
