The Center for Arts Education supports arts education by involving parents through Parents As Arts Partners (PAAP) and “My Child, the Arts and Learning”; and educators by sharing best practices and teaching methods. Executive Director Richard Kessler, Board Chair Jill Braufman, and CAE closely monitor the New York City Department of Education, the Blueprint for Teaching and Learning in the Arts, and No Child Left Behind (NCLB) as part of our efforts to ensure the arts are part of every child’s education.
