Kate Morris

Kate MorrisKate Morris is an actress and visual artist living in Brooklyn who can't wait to share her passion for the arts with all the talent students here in New York! She holds both a BFA in Musical Theater and a minor in Fine Arts from Pace University. Since graduating in 2010 she has performed in Manhattan Reperatory Theater’s Winter and Spring play festivals, at the Duplex Cabaret Theater and is currently doing some independent film work. She has also had her artwork in acrylic and multimedia forms shown at Pace University’s Peter Fingesten Gallery, at the First Street Green Gallery and at Community Word Project’s Annual Benefit for NYC schools. This past year she participated in Community Word Project's Teaching Artist Training Program in which she acquired hands on teaching experience by working with fellow teaching artists at PS 279 in the Bronx. She also worked with the Jacob Riis Settlement Summer Camp program in Queens as their arts coordinator. She is constantly seeking to grow as an artist and educator and thrilled to be working with the Center for Arts Education.
