Elizabeth (Liz) Foster is a newcomer to New York City, moving to the area from Northeast Pennsylvania in November of 2010. With a Bachelors Degree in Art Education from The Pennsylvania State University, Liz is currently teaching art to pre-kindergarten students at Transfiguration Kindergarten School in Chinatown. Liz began working with The Center for Arts Education during the Summer of 2011, when she acted as a Teaching Artist for The English Language Learner Program. Since moving to NYC, Liz has also been prop master for Our Time, a theater group for kids who stutter, volunteered for NYC Arts in Education Roundtable, and run a half marathon through Central Park! Creating and reflecting on art has always taught Liz about herself and the world around her and she is excited to continue sharing that experience with students across NYC!
