Career Development in the Arts

All participants will receive CDP teaching guides, which include key instructional methodology for the integration of career development activities into the curriculum in order to meet New York State Learning Standards and the New York City Blueprints for Teaching and Learning in the Arts.

CAE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

A critical component of CAE's mission—to ensure that New York City public school students have quality arts learning as an essential part of their K-12 education—is a commitment to improve the quality of teaching and learning through professional development opportunities for educators, counselors, teaching artists, and school administrators. CAE Professional Development builds instructional capacity in schools by providing tools and techniques to enhance arts education in classrooms and school communities.
